A piece about “Wag The Dog” the movie

“The metaphor of “wag the dog” implies that the power holder in the movie is not what you would originally expect it to be.   In real life, dogs have the power to wag their own tales because they are in control of it.  So, this name implies the power in the movie is often backwards.  This is shown in the movie when the public believes media stories that are untrue.”

“Throughout the movie,” “a main character” “works to manipulate the media to cover up scandals that are going on in the political world.”

““We remember the slogans, but we don’t remember the war,”  is an important quote from the movie because it shows how powerful media’s effect on the society is.”

“The news that the public was receiving was made up and not based on any truth.”

So is ‘Wag The Dog’ art imitating life or is life imitating art in this latest government project called “cooling centers?”

Because either way that’s the same place we’re at today regarding this “cooling center” media marketing machine.

The “cooling centers” media hype is all about one thing.  Building high density several story tall mixed use apartment buildings in dense city areas in California.  The dog whistle/trigger words they are using are “affordable housing.” All of the California politicians on t.v. are calling for it, and all of the lapdog media are repeating their calls for it.

CVAG is the open visible local leader crusading for this construction via the state of California who is beholden to International organizations.

The media and local actors are collaborating to get it done.  And they are using the homeless subject to do it.

It’s always the vulnerable that are used by powerful groups.  Used, used, used, used, used to reach a goal.

It’s continually one of the following groups or a combination of several of them that’s used to pass an agenda like this one through;

  • The Children
  • The Sick
  • The Homeless
  • Animals
  • The Poor
  • Elderly
  • The Weak
  • The Injured
  • The Mistreated

And almost every single time those groups that are the face of the agenda do not receive the help they were promised in the beginning.

Why?  Because the agenda was never about them to begin with.

The agenda was about something totally different but if the agenda was told to the public as the reason for something the public would reject it immediately.

So our local corporate media dutifully plays the roll of place holder in this “cooling centers” promotion so that the local governments can kick a field goal through the uprights.  Again the goal is to get taxpayer funded ghettos built in dense urban areas throughout California.  These ‘homes’ they want to build are not houses in the traditional form.

And parallel to the marketing of these housing units using cooling centers as the delivery method for the campaign is the opportunity for local players in the game of politics to shift large sums of money around within their groups.  In this program it’s going to be hundreds of thousands of taxpayer dollars.

Not to mention the homeless are not watching television and seeing these promo pieces on cooling centers.  They are off doing whatever it is they do all day, they’re not glued to KESQ.

Plus some of the hardest hit with homelessness are not going to enjoy being locked inside a church all night with the lights on.

The stage is set and the actors are in place with this housing project plan California has.  The profits are being drooled over, the contracts are ready to sign, the money is waiting to be spent.  It took them a long time to get this program ready and the timing had to be just right to green light it.  It’s now go time.

And I believe the media will be there on Estrella tonight at the W.O.L. Fellowship Center creating a “wag the dog” story with scripted questions directed at planted performers.  Some of the people interviewed will read their scripted answers on camera.

Please remember there were no homeless seeking shelter last night at the Church on Estrella.  That does not mean that there weren’t people who wanted a cot to sleep on.  It just means that if there are to be people lining up to get into the Fellowship Center tonight they will have been synthetically brought there.

Someone would have had to tell them or arrange for them to go there and get in line to get into the facility.  They just were not ther looking for shelter last night.

This summer you won’t see volunteers walking out to all of the remote homeless camps rounding up homeless and bringing them to the cooling centers.  This media roll out is directed at those WITH homes.  Why?  Those with homes vote.

Very few homeless comparatively will be served by this program.  That allows for the majority of the funds deposited into the bank accounts of the organizations that are being paid to cool the homeless will not be expended.  Or if they are spent the funds go to pre contracted suppliers of materials and products that continue the circulation of tax payer funds within the same group of inside corporations, contractors and profiteers.

The question must be asked so I beg for an answer to it.  Why weren’t the cooling centers being hyped up last year to the degree they are this year?  In 2018 we had 118 degree crippling temperatures with night time temps reaching well over 90 degrees?

Short answer?

Because the Mixed Use housing plan wasn’t green lighted yet.

That’s also why Desert Hot Springs is in a rush to get it’s Housing Plan finished.  And what’s in the Housing Plan?

Tons of Mixed use development up and down Palm Drive and left and right on Pierson Blvd.  Just go look at the Vortex plan that the city of DHS has legally adopted.

This cooling center advertisement currently going on is the government and media using the homeless so that they can ride the backs of the vulnerable towards a pre established goal.

That’s all this is.

And when the media portrays the evening as unbearably hot tonight, viewers will believe it and not ask questions.  When the media portrays the homeless as getting organic relief tonight, viewers will believe it.  When the media portrays the cooling centers as a solution to an emergency tonight and imply that that’s all this is about, the viewers will believe it.

Why?  Because this kind of Wag the Dog activity works.

Let us now peruse the photographs taken last night of the empty Word Of Life Fellowship Center that had it’s doors chained closed and not a single person available there for comment.

What a difference 1 day is going to make on Estrella in Desert Hot Springs if I’m correct.  A 180 degree turnaround is what I’m predicting we will see between last night and tonight on Estrella Ave.

Stay tuned.

I just want to be clear.  I have no ill feelings towards the Pastor or anyone involved in these programs centered around the cooling centers.  What I do know is that larger things are in motion and those larger machines often masquerade as benevolence.

The public needs to know what the other side of the coin looks like.  It’s only fair to present it.
