Last night in Desert Hot Springs it was almost immediately apparent that the latest hand picked yes man that was hired to sit on the city council was not appointed because he has any diverse insight into politics nor for any prowess of creating a stunning appearance.
Robert Griffith (I’m now adoringly calling Mr. Shifty Eyes) sat on the Dais last night in his first night as a council member and he right out of the gates obediently voted as he was clearly told to well in advance. He offered only a handful of words the entire night but voted to spend hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayer money minutes after sitting in the seat of the last puppet who sat at the desk with our now obvious dictator puppet (Lil’ D) Mayor Scott Matas.
He literally had nothing to say about and while approving multiple life savings for the average person in a matter of minutes.
Robert Griffith could not even go one night without revealing the most basic body language that gave away his lack of expanded insight into the agenda items voted on and his paranoid look of being submerged into a den of vipers who are there to turn him into a vampire just like them to promote agendas passed down to Desert Hot Springs from Bureacrats above them.
We’ve been screwed over yet again by our City Council after the phony show last week at the Carl May Center that undoubtedly was pre voted on and the back room deal was made to get Gardner, Pye, and Betts to vote to get Griffith into the final 4 so that Matas could pretend to make a hard decision when he really made the choice to appoint Griffith months ago.
This man (shifty eyes) blew my hopes of any kind of alternative views and instead showed himself as a pre planned, Mayor appointed representative of International Parties that control our city of Desert Hot Springs.
After last night’s city council meeting I walked away with no confidence he will be anything but another vote by Mayor Matas approving anything he is told to get approved by his handlers in Washington, Sacramento, and Palm Desert.
We now have what looks like an entrant into an evil creepy creature contest running our city and the resemblance is striking. You have to see it for yourself. They’ve got the behavior of evil creatures down to a T. But now we have a Council member who’s physical conduct mirrors creepy devil critters and cartoon-like elves.
Robert Griffith is the worst possible choice for city council in my opinion. A perfect match for a disconnected from reality City Council that we have.

Only one who is insecure and out of touch with theissues, and reality itself, would attack a city council person’s looks. Then to go after their stance on issues on the first meeting when they are an owner of a business in town in one of our major industries? Pathetic. Find a new job.
What does Robert Griffith own? The El Morocco Spa? Is that what you just admitted a half an hour ago? Because we were under the impression he was just managing the spa. Does he in fact own it?
Manage or own it, what difference does it make? He understands the community from what both tourists see and from what locals see. He is a homeowner in town, also.
