At the time of writing this article Facebook is partially down.
Facebook is most definitely in talks to halt our communications ahead of what’s coming to the United States.
Things are heating up so fast now that when the time comes Facebook will turn off our way of communicating during different large scale situations.
Apple has already integrated the ability to shut down your way to communicate during large events if they want to should an event take place.
One year ago a few prominent websites were taken down at the same time in an apparent beta test of closing down communications between the journalists and their audiences.
The Department of Homeland Security even has an internet kill switch that would shut down the internet completely. And the Supreme Court has refused to look into requests by groups to bring this before the court.
