I would be willing to bet that this case is going to be thrown out if these two people legally own these parts and the items to make the guns.
The parts of the weapons are what are very likely called Ghost Guns and certain types of Ghost Guns are completely legal for law abiding Americans to own and make. There are 1911 replicas that are legal and there are AR 15 ghost guns that are legal to own by the person who makes it.
This Article fails to give any details about the arrests such as the background of these 2 twenty year olds, what the liquid is in the bottle or that the Ghost Guns in the images are legal to own.
You can view thousands of different varieties of completely serial number free legal ghost guns online anytime you want to.
What’s pictured in the KESQ article is also the jig to legally finish the gun in the buyers own home with a bench top drill press.
If these 2 bought the guns from someone else that is illegal. Ghost Guns are only to be owned by the person who finishes the gun the remaining 20 percent. But that part was left out of the article knowing that most people won’t follow up on this case and instead take it for face value that these 2 twenty year olds are being pushed as some pair of publicly convicted terrorists.
The media also does not mention what is in the bottle that is comically written on with a sharpie.
Again the deception is the omission of crucial facts in the article in order to likely program the residents to fear their neighbor.
In fact it’s totally legal to make your own gun in your own home out of steel, wood, plastic, titanium or aluminum, etc. Your right as a law abiding citizen is to legally make this type of weapon if you want to. No problem.
I see this article as a scare tactic to promote disinformation among residents of DHS and beyond and to leave out many facts involved is shameful.
