If it wasn’t enough to see the Cannabis Industry Lobby the City of Desert Hot Springs to get rid of future taxes on their industry we now see cellular industry communication companies erecting cell towers right in the middle of their backyards.  In this case it’s a mono palm that is intended to be built by one of our favorite gas stations in DHS.

This shows the money that is being spent on making the cannabis industry happy.  While the city of Desert Hot Springs sits back and rubber stamps these now regularly going up cell towers, our police department takes hours to come out to a 911 call.

This cell tower just went up a stones throw from 10 cultivator properties.
This is the frame of the cell tower at Mission Lakes Shopping Center based in the parking lot of 2 prominent DHS pot shops.

While we see chump change come in in the form of taxes from the cannabis industry we see gene altering cell towers popping up near homes and businesses so that pot shops and growers can have faster wireless transfers of data.

At the same time we see wealthy cannabis players enriching themselves off of Desert Hot Springs we see an increase in homelessness from Dillon to Mission Lakes Blvd.

The Planning Commission is set to meet this coming Tuesday evening and are going to discuss approving YET ANOTHER cell tower going up at the Arco AM/PM near the almost completed Harborside Pot Dispensary and the soon to be built Tyson Ranch near the intersection of Palm and I 10.

I think we know who is getting heard first.  It’s the money that’s getting heard first and soon after catered to by our City.

Money talks, poverty sits and waits.
