A crony character seems to be continuing to suckle off of the teat of the taxpayer paid government in Desert Hot Springs.
Almost a month ago I noticed a facebook post by the right hand man to the Mayor of Desert Hot Springs Scott Matas. The post caught my attention not for it’s point but for it’s mention of a job he was doing.
He posted that he was changing the batteries on a go pro camera that was on a job site and I didn’t think much of it until later. It was a couple of weeks after his post that I noticed a time lapse camera box located on top of city hall in downtown DHS. Then it clicked that that was the job site that he was writing about in his post.
Why would he brag like that? Why would he give away a job that he’s doing in a post that was about a restaurant food review? Is it arrogance? Is it hubris or egotism? Probably. I mean he obviously wanted people to know there was a camera sitting out there somewhere like an Easter Egg to be found.
Even if this camera box sitting on top of city hall in DHS is his he will probably lie and say it’s not. That’s what he does, he lies. If it isn’t his he has put the other owner’s camera box in jeopardy by announcing to the public that there’s a go pro box sitting out in the city somewhere.
Here it is. It’s right in the public for all to see and it’s recording the new city hall being built at taxpayer expense for a cost of millions of dollars.
I mean when the building is finished there’s no doubt that the video made by the camera in this box will be used to propagandize the process and be exploited to gain votes for the current hustlers in office. It will likely look a lot like this video here that is from another city that bragged about it’s Mayor right at the beginning of the video. The Government does the same predictable carbon copy behavior as is found all over the world where votes are sought by politicians. Check out this city of Windsor propaganda piece below.
So the crony that is employed by the mayor is doing what he does best. Collect money from the city or city servants to do a job that is 100 percent meant to keep the status quo in office.
Arrogance I do not like and whenever it’s exercised by liars I feel the desire to point it out.
Go see the camera box for yourself, it’s right at the corner of Palm and Pierson in Desert Hot Springs on the roof of City Hall documenting the waste of taxpayer money being spent at the very same time our homeless population is camping up and down back streets and lots along Palm Drive all around the new city hall job site.
