Newsindhs Independent News Desert Hot Springs l June 24 2019
It looks like the State of California is telling us we have to build a homeless shelter and it’s going to be built on Estrella Avenue in Desert Hot Springs. That’s according to Councilman Russell Betts. As per usual it looks like Mayor Scott Matas is going to do what he’s told to do by Governor Newsom and be the lap dog our Governor wants him to be.
The news of the new homeless shelter that will come to the spa city is according to Current Council member Russell Betts. He told me all of this outside the ballroom which held the CVAG General Assembly Meeting June 24th 2019.
That location of the future shelter would put the bulk residence in the heart of all the mess that occurs daily in DHS like the drug activity, the prostitution, the pan handling, the burglaries, the petty theft, the murders, the open air drinking of booze, and the domestic violence calls, etc.
So if you live on Estrella Avenue in DHS and if I were you I would start making preparations for what’s to come because it’s probably not going to be pretty for a time after this future facility is up and running.

I most certainly will highly recommend this web site!
Built on Estella or taking over an existing building?
